Simiana and L'Rain fill in on the TransRadioUK Breakfast show. Originally aired 30/4/2019.
At this time, this will be the final show to feature the music of Joan Jett. She appeared in support of Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania the weekend that this show originally aired. While Joan has long supported the trans community, she now appears to be teaming up with someone who has a long history of anti-trans and anti-LGBT statements. This decision will be reversed should Joan do something that rectifies this situation. We do not believe her to be a TERF (trans exclusionary radical feminist) herself, but she has thrown her support behind someone who is, and as a result, with our shows being originally created for TransRadioUK, we have had to impose this (hopefully temporary) ban. We still think she's an amazing talent and hope to one day be able to play her songs on the air again.
